Seems great. I just don't think it fits the aura of the website as well. But, I like the ideas behind it.
And for your question on the lines, they're pretty good, but the words seem to look a little 'sketchy'. But it's a solid header. Thanks for the thought!
And, also this post would do better in the general chit chat areas, and such.
